Church started Sunday morning by singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent and prayer was given by Bro. James Moore.
Sunday school lesson was A Provision For The Followers, John 16:7-16 and 33 taught by Ronnie Epps. After a good Sunday school lesson we sang several songs. Bro. Raymond Haden prayed. Specials were performed by Lena Ingram, Aaliyah Irby, Elsie Atchison, Betty Morris and Raymond and Naida Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. His theme was The Race The Pace And Grace. He read Hebrews 12:1, II Romans 12:12, II Corinthians 3:18 and Ephesians 4:22. After a good message we sang. We were dismissed by Bro. John Paxton.
Church started Sunday night with prayer by Bro. Woodrow Coonce. We sang several songs. Specials were performed by Lena Ingram, Elsie Atchison and Woodrow Coonce. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He read Malachi 3:8, 9, 10 and several other scripture. After a good message we had altar prayer led by Bro. Raymond. Raymond sang a special then we sang. We were dismissed by Bro. Ronnie Epps.
As it was birthday and anniversary celebration night, there was only one birthday, Ivona Pierson’s. She wasn’t able to be there so Naida Haden stood in for her and we sang happy birthday.
The annual communion service will be held at Friendship, May 1 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
