CBCO Blood Drive Wednesday, April 30 At Ava High School

Ava High School FFA and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host a blood drive in Ava on Wednesday, April 20.

Donors will be received at the Ava Performing Arts Center from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

CBCO has issued a Code Yellow Alert for Type O Negative blood, meaning there is less than a two-day supply of this type of blood on hospital shelves. Your donation is needed to replenish the supply.

It takes over 275 donations every day to meet the needs of the 37 area hospitals that use CBCO products. However, a single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people.
