March 30 – Caney began Wednesday evening services by singing. Bro. Jeff was our leader tonight. He took prayer requests. Sister Lila led us in prayer. Bro. Jeff taught on chapter 9 of Romans. We had a real good study with lots of participation. Sister Janice had 7 young people in her class tonight. We missed Sister Susan and Brandon tonight. Bro. Jeff will be our leader next Wednesday night. We were dismissed in prayer by Sister Charlotte.
Sunday school was opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests were given with a lot of concerns. Bro. Jeff led in prayer. Jack read Titus 3:1-7 for our devotion, Testimonies were given by Jeff Shipley and Jim Lafferty.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Special songs and music were given. Aspen Isaacs played her clarinet. She does a great job. Charlotte Roberts, Jim Lafferty and Melissa Harmon all sang specials. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from John 12:32 and 3:12. We must look to the word and trust in Christ, if we want eternal life in heaven.

Testimonies were given by James Lafferty, Jack Essary, Margaret Herd, Gerald Yewy, Hi Lambeth, Sam, and Charlotte Roberts. Special music was by Herbert Smith, Peggy Essary, Rose Sartin, Jim Lafferty, Charlotte Roberts and Margaret Herd. We were so blessed to have a guest speaker, Bro. David Kennings. He spoke from Ephesians 3. We should as Christians all be in one accord. If we know Christ as our Savior, we should love the brother and sister. Jesus loves you no matter who you are or what you’ve done. There is no measure to God’s love. The altar filled with those who want to spread the love of God. It was a tremendous message from the Lord. A wonderful time of food and fellowship was had after service.
