This Monday is a big let down from Saturday and Sunday weather when we fall from the eighties to the forties and a wind chill in the thirties. We did get high wind, but now rain the rest of this week is looking good.
It was a wonderful day at Seminole Sunday, after the morning services, was the groundbreaking of the children’s new addition. It was a time to celebrate and praise God for all He has done and will do! During the evening service we had a real blesssing, we heard from the families of the early days of Seminole Baptist Temple. The miracle, blessing and the bad times as well and to this day see a growing church with a vision.
The granddaughters of Oscar and Gladys Cunningham, Holly, Genger and Angel, gave a surprise party for thie parents, Dan and Barbara Chapman’s 40th anniversary, Saturday at the Seminole Baptist Church. The young ladies did a successful party with all the good food, cake and trimmings. There were 117 people in attendance and the Chapman’s were truly surprised. Even the Chapman’s oldest grandson, Brendon Kultgew helped. He made the big bowl of salad.
Marise and I attended the ladies retreat Friday night and Saturday. Lots of ladies came and we enjoyed all the special speakers.
I visited with Skip and Billie Saturday. It was Skip’s 60th birthday. It is hard to believe I have boys that old. Billie is having a birthday this Tuesday. They only got heavy rain from the storms that went through Florida last week.
Be more concerned with what God thinks about you than what people think about you.
