We’re thankful for all the family Hunter brought Sunday morning. He sang a special for us as well as Pastor David.
Bobby Turley took up the offering and Hunter did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Angie Turley and I taught children’s church.
Our April birthdays are Carrie Adams, Dennis Goss and Pete Workman. We hope you all have wonderful birthdays.
Pastor David preached from Matthew, chapter 6 on prayer Sunday morning. Prayer changes things and we should never stop. Sister Jo Stephens shared some scripture from Psalm 104. We take a lot of things for granted that God gives us such as food, shelter, clothing. It all comes from God.
Pastor David sang then preached from Acts 3:L1-10. Peter and John had been filled with the Holy Spirit and many souls were being saved. They were on their way to church (temple) to pray. They stopped at the gate and shared with the lame man. He received much more than the silver and gold he was waiting for. He received his legs and salvation. Are we sharing the good news of what God has done and is doing for us? We should be. Just imagine the revival that could spread through our country if we would all start sharing the good news of salvation to everyone we meet. I get such a blessing from the church columns in the newspaper and my prayer is that God will bless you all greatly.
April is a busy month. Upcoming events are: April 17 dinner after morning worship, communion and foot washing at 2:00, no service that evening. April 23, 24, 25 is Association at Camp Piland.

God is so good to us. I am so thankful for my church, my pastor, and for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for loving me and saving me.
May God bless you all.
