Arno

I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said she got out Saturday and worked in her flowerbed.

Bonnie made it to church Sunday while it was pretty and warm. Last Monday I had a half of a tenth of rain in my gage. Wednesday I received another half of a tenth for a total of one-tenth of an inch of rain for last week.

Monica Reemes stopped by last Tuesday afternoon on her way to Cabool for a group meeting. Monica came up Wednesday night and stayed with me so she could take me to Springfield to my doctor’s appointment and then she stayed the rest of the weekend with me.

Monica and I went to Skyline School where they had a science fair going on and Mark Weston had a booth and he got third place in the sixth grade class, which he had to score over 90 percent. Monica and I went over and visited with Ellis and Marsha Saturday evening and they were building a fence when we got there then we went into the house and I got to eat some of their homemade ice cream that they had made the night before. Sunday Monica went with me to church and when we got back home we ate and then she went on home.

I had a real nice visit with her while we were together.

Lets pray for our church families and all the other sick folks out there that need it.

My prayers and sympathy go out to all that has lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

Last Thursday, March 31, those attending the school of instruction at Lebanon from Ava were Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey and Doris Morrison and also, Paralee Rea from Gainesville.
