Prayer requests were many as always. Among those were Mike DuBois and children, Roman and Robbie Sidykin, Joe Mason, Jerry Pitts’ aunt, Jerry and Scott Nall, the unsaved, leaders, troops and missionaries. Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer.
Happy birthday was sung to Chloe Wilson. Brad Siler and Clay McFarlin received our Lord’s tithes and offering.
Pastor Neal showed a picture of the two children with Dr. Sam and Sherry Evans in the Philippians. The children’s mission group sent them toys, books and other items.
Testimonies were shared about our great God.
Pastor Neal read from Luke 4, Jesus’ temptation and fasting. Jesus Christ, full of the Holy Ghost was led by the spirit into the wilderness and there He overcame the Devil.
At 6 p.m., we began with prayer by Stan Humbyrd followed by singing. Testimonies were shared. A prayer request was given for Sister Freeda Holt, who is having eye surgery on Wednesday. LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang a special.
Pastor Neal read from Luke 4, the second temptation of Jesus being shown the kingdoms of the world if he would worship the devil. Again, He overcame by the word. We must know the word to be an overcomer.
