We were truly blessed to have many of Chloe Wilson’s family with us. They came to help her celebrate her birthday. Chloe, I know you had a great day and were glad to have them with you. We were also glad they came.
Many prayer requests were shared. Among those were Bob Siler, having surgery on Monday, Joe Mason, Elane Crum, Jerry Nall, Debbie Hall, the family of James Doty and the names in our book on the altar. Danny Johnson prayed this prayer.
Stan Humbyrd and Brad Siler received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.
Several testimonies were shared about our great God and his love for us.
Mariah Clemens did a flute solo for her Grandma Great. Good job, Mariah.
Carla Wilson sang a beautiful song, “From a Shepherd’s Point of View”. Our Good Shepherd sees life so different from us. Rhonda Dobbs sang, “Be Still”, another beautiful song. God bless you, Rhonda, you are a blessing to us.
Van Menzies was our speaker and he began by asking the question, “What are your spiritual goals and what are you doing about them?” He read from Matthew 6.
At 6 p.m., we began with singing followed with prayer by Brad Siler.
Several testimonies were shared and Van Menzies read again from Matthew 6 and 7, Colossians 3 and I Peter 5. We are to ask, seek and knock. Serve the Lord with diligence.
Pastor Neal and LeaAnn will be traveling this week to the annual meeting for Options Pregnancy Clinic of Ava and to Texas for the funeral of James Doty. James and Frances attended our church, but moved to Texas. Pray for safe travel.
Tuesday night we meet for special prayer meeting. Wednesday night Rick Crum will be our Bible study leader.
Come and worship with us. You are always welcome.
