Mt. Tabor Church

Another good day to be in God’s house began with singing and prayer requests. There are many still not well, some with the “bug”, others continue to have serious health problems, we prayed for each of these. Especially remember the bereaved families, as well as those in the hospital.

Brother Dennis read mainly from Exodus 33, speaking about us, as God’s people, taking Him for granted.

Our Sunday night church singing was low in number, but a good time was had by all. We appreciate those who brought their instruments, sang, as well as prepared food.

Company for Mae Cox this past weekend was Mr. and Mrs. Tim Hall, Lauren and Hunter, Donna Nichols and Lisa Johnson. Mae reports brothers, Thetis and Cletis, to be about the same.

Visiting with Bessie Hall the past few days was J.C. Hall, Jewell Elliott, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Mae Cox and Al and Marge Himmelsbach. J.C. Hall took his mother to the doctor Tuesday and she received a good report.

Martin Hathcock is much better from his “bug”, however, Mary Ann says she is not any worse, but not much better. Pernie Adams and Dennis, of Strafford, visited them Sunday afternoon. Martin visited by phone with Norman Duckworth and also visited Harold Hutchison Tuesday afternoon.

Paul Cox visited during the weekend with his mom, Myrl Cox.  Pat Lansdown took her mother to her heart doctor in Springfield one day last week and glad to get a good report.

Ronnie and Pat Lansdown were in West Plains one evening last week, attending a program their grandchildren were participating in.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Lansdown visited Kenneth and Carla Lansdown Aborn recently, following Kenneth’s recent back surgery. He is making a very good recovery.

Gary and Stephanie Mishler, Carl Junction, spent Friday and Saturday with her grandparents, Harold and Kay Hutchison.

Dylan and Morgan Clements spent Monday night with Harold and Kay Hutchison.

Logan Elliott spent Monday with his great-grandparents, Tom and Jewell Elliott.

Shaun and LeAnna Elliott and children and James Elliott were visitors of Tom and Jewell Elliott at different times this past week.
