Bro. Marshall opened Sunday school with good morning to all. We sang a song for Jesus. Prayer requests were many. Sister Patsy led in prayer. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Ezekiel 3:18-21. Sunday school class began with our leader asking Sister Mary to lead in prayer. Sister Peggy read from Acts 11:19-30. We had a lot of class discussion. We sang happy anniversary to Sister Juanita. Bro. Howard was unable to be with us. They have been together 64 years. God bless them. Sister Juanita blessed the offering.
The congregation was in good voice this morning. It is such a blessing to sing the good old hymns. Bro. Paul greeted all. We had specials from Bro. Marshall and Sister Juanita, Sister Peggy, Sister Sharon and Sister Patsy. Bro. Paul read scripture from Amos 8::11-13. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with a song and Sister Peggy dismissed with prayer.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Our church, the sick, the lost, our brothers and sisters in Christ and our families who are lost. There are so many who need prayer. Sister Sharon led in prayer.
We sang some good hymns and had specials from Sister Peggy, Sister Sharon and Sister Patsy.
Bro. Marvin Loftin was our speaker for the evening service. He prayed and read scripture from Romans 12:1-2. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with a song and was dismissed with prayer by Sister Patsy.
We will be having our fourth Saturday night Singing, March 26 at 7 p.m. Come and join us for some good fellowship.
We will be having food and fellowship after the morning service Sunday the 27th. Come join in and get a blessing.
