Opening Prayer for our Sunday Service was by Joie Welker. After congregational singing, all were dismissed to Sunday School classes where our lesson was on “Worship Inspires Service.” Our whole lives should consist of acts that glorify God. True worship and active service in the churches works well together and improves lives of their members.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to little Wyatt Young. We had a special song by Pauline Welker.
Pastor Riley Hall’s message was from Exodus 3: 1-10 with most of his text from verse 7. “I am the God thy Father and am here to deliver the Children of Israel out of the Egyptian hands.”
When those who are lost in sin and get tired of their misery and call out to God, God will hear their cry as he heard the cry of the Children of Israel. The blood of Jesus cleanses all unrighteousness.
Several from Gentry attended the Fourth Sunday Singing at Rock Church. Saturday was the baby shower for Cindy Young at the Church and she received many fine gifts. God Bless!
