Curtis Doran Dale (Bud) Lakey, 77, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2011.
He was born April 25, 1933, in Douglas County to Jason and Hazel (Sharpton) Lakey.
He served in the United States Army.
On April 19, 1953, he was married to Blanche Archer and to them were born three children, Tony Eugene, Vicki Jo and Troy Dale.
He is survived by his children; two brothers, Doyle and Don Lakey; one sister, Ellen Gray; and numerous grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dallas Lakey, a granddaughter, Kristina Liles, and close cousin Herbert Snow.
He was laid to rest at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
