Arno News

Bonnie Phipps said it was too cold to get out and go to church this morning.  She will be glad when it gets warm and stays that way.  Carol Moore came by last Monday and picked me up and then went by and got Mary Dickey and we all went to our O.E.S. meeting here in Ava.  We had a few out sick.

Kay Hutchison stopped by and picked up my news last Tuesday.  That night Monica Reemes came up and stayed all night with me so she could get up early Wednesday morning and go to Cabool to a Staff Meeting.

Mark and James came by for a while and then that afternoon Violet stopped by and brought back the seed catalog that she had borrowed from me and then picked up her eggs. Donna Nichols picked up hers, and Tim’s and Mae Cox’s eggs.

Friday I received 2-1/2”  of rain and on Saturday I had 1-1/10” in my rain gauge.

Sunday, Vernal and Ellen Blakey came down and spent the day with me and James came up for a while.

Evelyn Bryan came by this afternoon and visited a while.  I sent my eggs with her for the ones down at the church.  We need to keep praying for all our sick folks.  Our prayers and sympathy goes out to all the families that have lost a loved one.

Let’s keep our leaders and the men and women in the Service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

Sunday evening I talked to Shirley Jesson  and she said that Wally’s aneurism had gotten bigger and they should know by this Monday what they will do. Wally isn’t doing very good.
