Twila May Freeman, 52, of Reeds Spring, Mo., passed away on March 19, 2011 at the St John’s Hospital-Berryville in Berryville, Ark. She was born on Nov. 27, 1958 in Mansfield, Mo., the daughter of Donald L. and Norma Jean (Turner) Freeman.
Twila graduated from Ava High School. She worked for several years as a nurses aide. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her grandchildren very much. Twila enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved flowers. She was a kind hearted and caring person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Twila was a Christian and a member of the Thornfield Missionary Baptist Church.
Twila was preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Ann Busby.
She is survived by her parents Donald and Norma Jean Freeman of Squires, Mo.; one daughter, Terri Lynn Cook, of Reeds Spring, Mo.; one son, Joey Beard, of Reeds Spring, Mo.; four grandchildren; one sister, Kay Turner, of Squires, Mo.; two brothers, James Melvin Freeman, of Ava, Mo., and Jeffery Lee Freeman, of Squires, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service for Twila will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Thornfield Missionary Baptist Church in Thornfield, Mo. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, Mo.
