The Ava Bears opened the baseball season at home Monday as the SCA Tournament got under way.
The Bears defeated Willow Springs 19-4 in four innings Monday.
The win advanced the Bears to the semifinals at Houston on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the Bears defeated Houston 3-1.
The championship game will be played at Cabool today (Thursday) at 4 p.m., with the Bears facing the Bulldogs.
Next week, the Bears will host West Plains on Tuesday, in a 4:30 start, and on Wednesday the Bears will play Hollister at home at 4 p.m.
