The Ava-Douglas County Emergency Management office is sponsoring a weather spotter class on March 29, at the Ava Lions Club in Ava.
The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be presented by the National Weather Service of Springfield.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether this will be a refresher course or you just have an interest.
No fee or pre-registration is necessary.
