A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend. The weather is some what better, but still cold winds, that is strong at times. God has blessed us again as the storms and quakes are all around us and no real damage here that I know of.
We send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. Also our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Fae and Evelyn Witchey went to Seymour on Wednesday and met Harold and Ilene Easley and had our February and March birthday dinners together at a café up there. Also visitors of Fae have been Evelyn Witchey, Ilene Easley, Dean Easley and Lois Graham.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Visiting Lois on Tuesday morning were Gina and Alyssa Tompkins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. These girls are Lois’ great, great nieces. Then visiting Lois on Friday evening was her great niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Tompkins and Alyssa.
This news from the desk of Ellis and Emmalyn Stephens. Visiting the Stephens last week were Connie Burris, Shelby, Shaelynn, Mali and Cohan Koop.
We appreciate the couple who helped Ellis when he fell at Dollar General. He didn’t get your names, but again, we all appreciate it.
We hope everyone is getting over the flu.
Our great granddaughter at Rogersville was down with the flu. She was running 104 degree temperature. She is only eighteen months old and all she wants is for Nana to hold her.
Spring is here, I guess. We had two garter snakes in the flowerbed. I’m just not ready for the snakes, not of any kind.
We want to send birthday greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
This little note from Norma Jones. My tulip bed is beginning to take shape if I counted right, I have about 50 plants that are up so far. I can hardly wait to see the outcome. Norma’s visitors have been Arlen “Bud”, Peggy, Lane and Ralissa Watkins. I also appreciate Ellis and Emmalyn Stephens for the ride to the memorial for Jim Rasch on Friday.
We are having our exercise classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at three, now that the weather is better.
If you have news, just let us know.
