The Nubbin Ridge Homemakers Club met March 11 in the home of Dorothy Burton.
President Norma Stillings led the reading of the Club Collect. Ruth read “Best Ever Senior Joke”, and Nadine read “Where Do the Pills Go?”
Lois called the roll, and each lady told who taught her how to sew.
Minutes and treasurer’s report were approved as read.
Several ladies brought items they had made for “show and tell.” They included beautiful quilts, knitted sweaters, and clothing. Nadine brought a quilt that was hand-pieced and quilted by her grandmother Davis about 1925.
Club programs for 2011 were reviewed and approved, then they discussed the Douglas County Council programs.
Ruth called four games of bingo. Winners were Eva, Bobbye, Pat and Geraldine.
Enjoying peanut butter pie and chocolate brownies were Lois Strong, Nadine Letsinger, Eva Painter, Geraldine Gray, Ruth Barrett, Norma Stillings, Terri Hall, Pat Banks and hostess Dorothy Burton.
Terri Hall will entertain on April 14 at 1 p.m.
