Though it was a gloomy day outside, it was a good day to be in God’s house. We have many things to be thankful for, however, we continue to pray for the many needs of our church, community and nation.

Glad to hear Pat Smith had successful back surgery and is now home recuperating.
Pat Lansdown took her mother, Myrl Cox, to a local doctor, last week and will take her for her appointment in Springfield, Wednesday. Paul Cox came down and helped his mother with some chores.
Ronnie and Pat Lansdown joined Doug and Kristie Lansdown in West Plains last Wednesday evening to watch both the Ava Bears and Lady Bears in basketball playoff action.

Jim Turner visited Friday afternoon with Harold and Kay Hutchison. Harold and Kay visited Bro. Tom and Jewell Johnson and son, Lowell, Thursday afternoon. Kay also visited James and Evelyn Milam Monday evening.
