Individuals charged and convicted in Douglas County were given prison sentences at March Law Day on Tuesday, March 8, according to Prosecuting Attorney Roger Wall.
Sentenced to the Department of Corrections by Circuit Judge John Moody were:
Bradley Cooley, 45, Norwood, sentenced to two years for possession of a controlled substance, for events occurring April 23, 2010.
John True, 40, of Ava, sentenced to three years for driving while intoxicated – persistent offender, for events occurring May 5, 2008.
Frank Dye, 51, Ava, sentenced to three years for driving while intoxicated – persistent offender, for events occurring Aug. 8, 2010.
Daniel Harris, 33, Ava, sentenced to four years for property damage, 1st degree, and four years for resisting arrest, to run consecutively, for events occurring Oct. 29, 2010.
Amanda Hoyt, 28, Marshfield, sentenced to three years for possession of materials for the production of a controlled substance, for event occurring Oct. 29, 2010.
