Someone told me that time is changing again and we are getting ready to spring forward.
Larry Hutchinson always remembers when time fell back an hour and Roger and I arrived at church an hour before church was suppose to start. Better late then never right? Make sure to set your clock, so you get to church on time.
We had several good songs Sunday. The youth sang along with Michaela, Sarah and Abbey Hampton, Grace and Evan Mitchell. Jon Mitchell, Bud Hampton and I sang a special and so did Darrell Gunter and Tammy and Grace. It was also good to have Arthur Hampton back with us. Arthur and Bud sang one song together and Arthur sang one by himself.
Donald preached a very moving message about the rich man who wouldn’t give up his worldy possessions and turn to God. Don’t wait until it’s too late. God will call each of us home one day and we don’t know when that day will be, make sure you know where your soul will spend eternity!
The altar was full of people praying for different reasons and I’m sure we all have people and family that need our prayers. On our prayer board right now we have our preacher, Donald, Kerry Lafferty and Wyatt Applegate.
Donald was feeling good enough to say I need to go home and cook Roger a good lunch. I tried to convince them that Roger needed to take me out for lunch, but the men won – I cooked.
When you’re out in the world and you do something silly, you always hope nobody sees you, but it never works that way. I was on my way home from town and saw some deer crossing the road so I slowed down. I thought they were all across when I saw another deer and I had to stop very quickly. The deer almost ran into the side of my car and who should be behind me but my neighbor, Patty. She told me later that she was telling me to stop. After I went on two more deer went through.
I went to see my mom, Bob and Angie at the nursing home. They are doing well. Mom told me they just had a visit from Phyllis and while I was there she read a letter to all of us that she had received from Dottie.
Everybody needs someone to care about them to make them feel special. Is ther some family members you haven’t seen or spoken to in awhile? Call them up and tell them God loves them and so do you!
