Well here we are again and it still is not spring. This writer is really ready for some sunshine.
We had a good service, but few in number. Opening Sunday school Joe Lafferty read the 54th Psalm. Wilma Hampton led in prayer. Lee Hampton taught the 13th chapter of Mark for our lesson.
Wilma Hampton and Susie Sisco had the questions and answers. Everyone enjoys looking up the questions and you learn a lot. It refreshes your memory.
Lee Hampton took up the offering. Clara Lafferty led the offering prayer. No birthdays today. We had congregational singing. Susie Sisco sang a solo.
During the 11 o’clock hour Joe Lafferty stayed in the 13th chapter of Mark then the 13th chapter of Revelation the 8th verse, Coming Of The Lord, then led in prayer.
Bro. Laurel Bengston dismissed the service in prayer.
Evening services started with the congregation singing. Stormy weather caused a lot of people to not attend. Susie Sisco sang.
Lee Hampton preached from Ephesians the 5th chapter and the 6th verse, children obey your parents. We had several testimonies. Clara Lafferty dismissed the service. Keep praying for the lost.
