There was lots of friends and family gathered together last Sunday for the baby shower for Julie and Scott Lawson. They got so many nice things for their baby and said they were thrilled and appreciated everything they got. Baby Lawson is due sometime the first two weeks of April and as grandma to the little guy, I can hardly wait!
It was good to see Carol Johnson at the shower, I hadn’t seen her for awhile. Julie and Lauren (Rogers) Gross used to spend so much time together while they were growing up that Carol seems like another grandma to Julie.
It was so good to see Pauline Lee at the baby shower also, and visit a minute. Pauline, Juanita Shortt and Donna Sloan sat together and had a good visit.
Joy Easley wants everyone to know about the monthly singing at Hercules. It will be this Saturday night, March 12, starting at 6 p.m. with refreshments after. Everyone is invited to come bring a song, they would love to see you there.
Sue Jenkins is going to the county commissions meeting next Monday, March 14 at 10 in the morning to speak to them about the voting precincts and how they are divided up. She would like anyone with the same concerns to come to the meeting and show their support or speak their concerns.
