ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Housing Authority of the City of Ava, Missouri will receive separate sealed bids for 2010 CAPITAL FUNDS PROGRAM, AVA HOUSING AUTHORITY, NEW CONCRETE DRIVES, PATIOS AND SITE GRADING IMPROVEMENTS, AVA, MISSOURI, until 10:00 AM (local time), Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in the Office Building of the Housing Authority of the City of Ava located at 802 NE 11th Avenue, Ava, Missouri, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Proposal forms and contract documents including specifications and plans are on file at the Housing Authority office. Copies of the documents may be obtained at the office of the Architects, Esterly, Schneider & Associates, Inc., AIA located at 1736 E. Sunshine, Suite 417, Springfield, Missouri, 65804 upon the deposit of $25.00 in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Ava, for each set of documents obtained or any part thereof. Such deposits will be refunded to each person who returns the documents in good condition within ten days after bid opening. A separate check, to cover shipping charges, made payable to Esterly, Schneider & Associates, Inc. AIA in the amount of $7.00 shall be included with the plan deposit.
Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the bid package must be paid on this project.
A Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (local time), Tuesday, March 22, 2011. This meeting will commence at the project site Community Building, 802 NE 11th Avenue, Ava, Missouri.
