Spring break is this week and I hope everyone is enjoying being out of school. I hope the weather cooperates a little and is nice most of the week so they can enjoy some outdoor time.
We attended church at Lone Star last Sunday morning and got to see and worship with several friends we hadn’t seen in a while. It’s always good to get to hear David Koenig bring the message, we enjoyed the whole service so much. We were sitting there before the service started and was talking to Tampa Rogers when Jon Rogers walked up behind me and decided I needed a new hairdo. Lets just say I am glad that the “messy look” is still in style! I’ll think of something, so watch out, Jon!
June Rhoads is back home and feeling some better after surgery to remove one of her kidneys. We pray June will continue to improve.

Congratulations to Khailey Arrington on the birth of her son, Brayden Nikolas McNamee on March 10. He weighed 7 lbs. and 13 oz. and is adorable, of course! He is having to spend a few days in the hospital because of jaundice. Khailey lives in Springfield now, but she used to live right across the road from our daughter Lynn, right in the middle of Union Flat.
