The Missouri Bar Business Law Committee wants to know what Missourians think about state laws affecting businesses. The Committee also wants to hear about the public’s experiences with lawyers and the courts on business-related matters.
“We are trudging through the most difficult economic environment of the past 50 years,” said John S. Johnston, president of The Missouri Bar. “Anyone who owns, manages or works in a Missouri-based business is invited to provide feedback to ensure our courts are user-friendly.”
A brief survey can be filled out anytime during the next 60 days online at www.mobar.org/business.
The bar’s Business Law Committee will study the responses and recommend possible changes in the law to the bar’s Board of Governors.
The Missouri Bar drafts and supports a wide variety of legislative proposals each year that affect the administration of justice.
The Missouri Bar is a nonpartisan organization that does not endorse the agenda of any political party. Its mission is to improve the laws, the legal profession and the administration of justice on behalf of all Missourians.
