We are ready for spring in this area of the world! I keep hearing folks say that the Farmer’s Almanac in calling for another bad spell at the end of the month. I sure hope they are wrong about that!
I am sorry that we missed the event for Brother Bob Huskey this past weekend. We did not read about it in enough time. We sure love their family and would have enjoyed being present and supporting a longtime friend and neighbor. He has pastored to several generations of our family.
Sunday evening we enjoyed dinner with Pastor’s Chuck and Rosie Breeze. We were joined by Nicholas and Sarah Inman and Betty Jo Cantrell. It was a nice evening and we got caught up on their missionary work to Africa. It seems like just the other day that Dr. Marjorie Harmon of Fordland (our doctor) decided that she was going to relocate in Africa. She has been there many years now and has been a faithful worker there, offering medical care to those who would not have any without her presence. Dr. Harmon is such a great lady and she was loved by many throughout this area, who doctored with her for many years.
Happy belated birthday to grandson, Patrick Morris. He celebrated his birthday on March 3. Also, oldest grandson Nicholas will turn 29 on March 11. We hope they both enjoy their special day.
Tours of the Chateau Charmant, the castle in Olga, are being conducted with the warm weather entering the forecast. You can book a tour by calling 241-2321.
Well, I have much to do around the house. I will close for now and hope to see you out this way in the near future.
