The Tri-County Master Gardeners together with Missouri State University will be having a free Spring Seminar “Growing Vegetables” on March 12.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program to begin at 9 o’clock. It will be held at the State Fruit Experiment Station in Mtn. Grove.
This workshop will cover most topics related to growing your own vegetables including: starting seeds, working with transplants, timing the plantings, selecting varieties, watering, fertilizing, diseases and insect pests.
There will also be door prizes and refreshments.
