Dick and I stopped to see Helen Dobbins one day last week. It was one of those cold, rainy days. She is doing pretty good, like the rest of us, waiting for warmer weather. We stopped to see Peggy at the nursing home to see how she was, but Randy Jenkins had taken her to the doctor in Springfield. We went to see her Saturday, she was sleeping, I didn’t wake her up, because she is taking strong medicine for pain. I found out she was able to be up some the next day.
The youth from Goodhope General Baptist Church sponsored a late valentine dinner Saturday evening at the church. They did a wonderful job. We appreciate all the hard work by the youth leaders.
LeAnn Crum was our speaker Sunday for the Options Pregnancy Clinic. Sunday evening the youth was in charge of the evening worship service.
I am proud of the rain we got, we can use more any time. It won’t be long until the grass will start growing.
Cody Richards and family were here over the week. Also Tony Richards came by, we all had a good visit.
Tony and I were in Ava Friday grocery shopping and paying bills as usual.
I don’t know if they will get to work today or not as it may be too wet. We need the rain though. Everyone have a good week.
