The Norwood R-1 School Board met Wednesday, Feb. 16, in regular session. The agenda was approved and the consent agenda items were approved.
Superintendent Don Forrest reported on the budget, daycare and transportation funding. Elementary Principal Dana Webb reported on professional development and attendance.
Marcella Swatosh, high school principal, reported on progress reports, attendance and upcoming events.
The board also approved the 2011-2012 school calendar and the purchase of a 2009 school bus.
The next regular meeting will be March 16 at 5 p.m., in the Norwood School Library in the high school building.
