We had a good singing and fellowship Saturday night. Those who were there received a blessing. Hope to see you at the singing in March.
Sunday school opened with a song and a big hello from Bro. Marshall. We had prayer requests and there were many. Sister Mary led in prayer. Our leaders for class was Sister Naomi. She led in prayer then read from the 10th chapter of Acts, verses 1-34. We had some class discusiion. Good job, Naomi.
Our little angel was sick today so her grandmother filled in for her. Remember our little angel in your prayers.
We sang for the Lord and the congregation and choir was in good voice. Bro. Paul greeted everyone. He said it was time for the specials. Those doing specials were Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy. Bro. Marshall and Sister Juanita sang together.
Bro. Paul read from II Kings, chapter 20 verse 1-7. Bro. Paul prayed and then gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and an altar of prayer. Sister Mary dismissed in prayer with a blessing on the food and fellowship to follow and we had an abundance of both.
We openeddthe evening service with our prayer circle and it was a great one. We had a lot of prayer requests. Bro. Marvin led in prayer. We sang some great hymns and everyone sang with the spirit of the moment. It was a good feeling. We had our specials. The Overturf’s from Gainesville joined us. Their son, Samuel Overturf, blessed us with some specials. Great voice, good job. Other specials were from Sister Peggy.
Bro. Marvin Loftin blessed us with a good message from the Lord. He used the book of Jonah as his guide. He closed with a song. Bro. Paul dismissed with prayer.
