Jeremy Eden, executive director of Wright County Children’s Home, is scheduled to receive the training necessary to become an instructor in the C.A.L.M. crisis intervention method.
The certification is good for two years and will enable Jeremy to train and certify the entire WCCH staff in the C.A.L.M. method at a deeply discounted price. The C.A.L.M. program is offered by Crisis Management Solutions, Inc. out of Atlanta, Ga.
Although it is not a common occurrence, there are times when the WCCH childcare staff has to intervene to bring a crisis situation under control. This valuable training will ensure that the staff will have every tool available to them in order to restore order and keep themselves and the children as safe as possible.
