Bryant Heights wk. 23

That was quite a storm we had to come through late Sunday night, happy to hear no one had a tornado, but many felt the shake from the earthquake in Arkansas.  I hope the sun keeps its promise and comes out this afternoon.  In spite of this weather the daffodil and tulips are showing up to my surprise.

Billie reports 84 degrees at Fort Myers Saturday.  That sounds good to me.

At Seminole Sunday morning pastor Don’s message was from Hebrews 11, “The Journey of Faith.” Can we know God, can we trust Him?  Biblical faith is a relationship with a personal God.

At the end of the second service, pastor Don and Becky were to drive to Texas, to be there for the arrival Monday of their first grandson, so sad, their son Brian was called to Heaven a month before his son’s arrival.  It is hard to understand why, only God knows why.

Louise Wood gave me the happy news from Vivian Ridenour of Harford, WI.  She is now the proud great grandma of her first great granddaughter.  I hear Vivian looks forward to Bryant Heights news each week. We went to Fairview School. She was in the 8th grade when I was in the first grade.

Betty Chapman is at St. John’s Hospital. I have not got the news that she is home.

I was happy to see the Cunningham’s back in their pew Sunday, since they were not called out to preach elsewhere.

There is never a heart so broken but the loving Lord can heal.  For the heart that was pierced on Calvary, Doth still his loved ones feel.
