Brother Roy Frye read Isaiah 2:5-10 for the devotion after congregational singing.

Brother Bobby took up the tithes and offerings and Bailey and Tommy did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Pastor David sang a special then preached from Revelations 2:1-5. Our Christianswalk is the most serious thing in our life. Nothing or no one can come before God in our life. We must be the best Christian we can be. Jesus knows our heart. He knows where we are on Sunday and if we are in church whether or not we want to be there. He sees the good and the bad. If we are not careful we can get away from God. We need to remember daily what it was like before we were saved. Remember the excitement, the peace and joy and the urgency to see others saved. Who do we get away from that? We have to stay focused on Christ and not ourselves. If we fall short we are not worthy of Him. It was a very good message.

Sunday evening we worshipped in song. We appreciate all who came and participated.

Please join us at Black Oak if you are looking for a church. Bible study on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Sister Wanda shared this question with us: What is the best vitamin for a Christian? B-1.

May God bless you always.
