Ava Team Displays 1970 GTO At Las Vegas Auto Show

Willoughby Hot Rods, of Ava, was pleased to showcase Devin Houston’s 1970 GTO SC/Tiger for the viewing pleasure of auto enthusiasts in Las Vegas recently.

Gear Heads and Pontiac fans alike took in this Orbit Orange, Pro Charged SC/Tiger at the Legendary Auto Interiors booth during the 2010 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas.

This animal, restored by Tim McDevitt at the Willoughby shop at Ava, is equipped with a Quick Fuel blow through carburetor and 600 horsepower exhausting through a Pypes 3” stainless system.  The Tiger carves up the corners with a Ridetech air ride suspension and Baer brakes wrestling down the beast.

Creature comfort is a Legendary Auto Interior with Legend Imagery custom graphics.

The indoor residents are cooled down by a Classic Auto Air system while viewing the road through JRD Classic Auto Glass and listening to the tunes on a Waves & Wheels sound system.

Future appearances will include the Carlisle GM Nationals in Carlisle, Pa., June 24-26; the Pontiac-Oakland Club International Convention in Bowling Green, Ky., July 5-9; and the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio, Aug. 5-7.
