Sister Mary DeVries, 77 years, passed away on Feb. 21, 2011 at Ava, Mo.
Sister Mary was born Dec. 12, 1933 in Los Angeles, Calif., to Herman and Ada (Grosvenor) DeVries.
Sister Mary was a resident of the Ava community since 1976.
She was a member of the Nazareth Hermitage Catholic Church, Ava, Mo.
Sister Mary was preceded by her parents.
Sister Mary is survived by one brother, Lee West, Los Angeles, Calif., cousins, and dear friends at Nazareth Hermitage and at the Assumption Abbey in Ava, Mo.
Funeral Mass for Sister Mary was Wednesday, Feb. 23, at noon in the Assumption Abbey, Ava, Mo., with burial in the Nazareth Cemetery, Ava, Mo. Arrangements are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
