Well with the white stuff gone we were able to get back to church at Happy Home. It seems like forever since we were here to sing and praise the Lord. Bro. Paul opened Sunday school with a great good morning. He was filling in for Bro. Marshall, who we miss a lot when he is on the road. We had many prayer requests. I don’t mention each prayer request by name as I don’t want to miss anyone because they are all special, but I would like to ask everyone to keep Bro. Paul in your prayers. Sister Ulla led in prayer. We sang for Jesus and gathered together for Sunday school class. Sister Alice was our leader and she read from Acts 9:32-43. Before she read from God’s word Sister Juanita led in prayer. We had lots of class discussion. Good job, Alice. Our little angel was there to gather up our Coins for Christ.
We sang some good hymns. The church was in good voice. Sister Mary blessed the offering. We had a special from Sister Peggy. Bro. Paul welcomed everyone again. He then read scripture from Deuteronomy 10:10-15. He blessed us with a good message from God. We closed with a song and Sister Peggy dismissed in prayer.
Our evening service opened with our prayer circle. It was small, but the Lord was with us. There were many prayer requests for the lost, for family, friends, the sick, our church and church family. Bro. Paul led in prayer. We sang for the Lord some good hymns and then we had shome specials from Sister Peggy and Sister Ulla.
Bro. Paul opened the 23rd Psalm and gave us a message from the Lord. We had testimonies from the congregation. We closed in prayer by Sister Juanita.
We will have our Fourth Saturday Night Singing this Saturday, February 26 at 7 p.m. Come and join us. Bring your songs and instruments and get a blessing.
We will be having dinner after services Sunday morning, February 27. Come for church and stay for some good fellowship. Have a good week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
