Roy Hampton opened Sunday school reading I John 2 and led in prayer.
Lee Hampton taught the tenth chapter of Mark. The subject was on “Jesus Law of Divorce.” We had questions and answers and more for next week.
We took up the morning offering. Lee Hampton led the offering prayer.
The congregation sang a few songs. Ashley Lafferty, Sue Sisco and Ronnie Thomas all sang specials.
The eleven o’clock preaching scripture was Isaiah, chapter 53. He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. Joe Lafferty led in prayer.
The invitation was given, Ronnie Thomas dismissed the service.
Evening service started with singing. Sue Sisco, Ronnie Thomas, Joe Lafferty and Clara Lafferty all sang specials.
Jessie Lafferty brought a message in St. John 14:6, “I am the truth and the light,” Jesus said. Roy Hampton had a message in Matthew 42 and Deuteronomy 28:15. Jessie Lafferty dismissed in prayer.
