Allene June (Padgett) Wickham was born June 24, 1927 in Blue Rapids, Kan. She died Feb. 17, 2011 in her daughter’s home in Springfield, Mo.
She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Don (James) Halpain, of Ava, Mo., a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ernest Moore, of Springfield, Mo., a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Tonia Weaver of Oregon, a daughter and son-in-law Toni and Doug Dilbeck, of Colorado; six grandchildren, Heather, Seth, Gayon, Andrew, Hannah and Zachary; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jaden, Joe and Blaine.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Cox South, 3 West and Hospice Compassus. Also many thanks to all her special friends in the Ava area for their prayers and concern. She loved and enjoyed you all.
Allene requested that no formal services be held. A family and friend remembrance gathering will be held at a later date.
