Sunday morning service was opened with the little ones singing and praising God. Such a blessing, they are, letting us know how we should be excited in serving and praising God.
We then had welcoming and praise which was led by Bill and DeDe Arrington.
Several were mentioned for having birthdays this week.
Brother Roberts brought the morning message from I Peter 4:10-11, “Stewardship of Talents.”
After several congregational hymns, Brother Cody Prock brought the evening message from John 6:28-35.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Buck Mahan.
On Friday evening, Donna Bannister came down and visited with us. On Saturday, Becky Carter came down from Nixa and spent the night with us and I enjoyed sitting up until 3:30 A.M. just talking and laughing.
Beth Stafford and Johnathon came over on Monday evening for supper with us. My mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams took Delmar and me to Golden Corral for lunch on Monday, in celebration of my birthday which is next week. We were met there by my sister, Violet Flair and husband, Johnny.
On Sunday evening, Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears came and visited for awhile and I cut her a pattern for setting a quilt top together.
We are all very happy to have some warmer, sun-shiney weather. The snow is leaving pretty fast and the mud is coming just as fast but, the sunshine should help dry that up soon.
Until next week, just remember, “We have a gift to share, are we sharing it.”
