Odie Kresse visited with Tom and Jewell Johnson last week.
Norma Stillings went to Rocky Ridge in Mansfield and Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center last week to play the piano and visit with residents. Most residents prefer the old hymn and gospel songs that they heard when they were young. Some residents who can not communicate clearly can still sing the old familiar songs.
Norma drove her friend, Paulette Walls, to Springfield for medical tests and doctor appointments this week. They both like to look for hawks beside the road or in the air. It is not unusual to see half a dozen, but sometimes they will see as many as twenty-five during this time of the year when trees are bare of leaves.
