Church of the Living God wk. 21

Sunday, February 13 – The prayer requests for this morning were for Ruby Graham, Wayne and Donna Applequist, Bill Bolding, Austin and Sandra Johnson, Grandpa and Charlie Lane, Jesse and remember the congregation of the Diggins Church that burned, pray that God will give peace and understanding and a sanctuary to worship in.

Specials this morning were by Linda R., Gary and Bevy.

It was a blessing to have our former pastor, Marvin Graham with us.

Praise God for all of our visitors, we had 42 in attendance, know this, if you don’t have a home church, come be with us when you can.

Everything happens “in the fullness of God’s time.” To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven.” Read the whole chapter of Ecclesiastes 3. It’s wonderful. A time to be born and a time to die.

In the fullness of time not too early, not too late, but in God’s time. That’s hard for us to wrap our head around sometimes. We want to hurry, hurry.

At 3 p.m. this afternoon, Rev. Don Graham officiated at a ten year renewal of vows between Pastor Gary and Bevy. What a lovely time with family, mother giving away her daughter, daughter and granddaughters and sisters, son grandson and master James P. in attendance, friends watching this lovely and solemn occasion. A beautiful weddding cake, mints, cup cakes and punch were served afterwards.

Bro. Gary said he didn’t have a sermon planned, but God planned the evening through Bro. Bill Bolding. Special songs were by Linda R., Emma, Linda R. and Betty H. We had an awesome testimony service. God’s presence was very evident in the service. Bro. Gary sang and gave an invitation for anyone who needed salvation to come forward.

Bro. Steve said, “Lets all circle up, hold hands and each pray in your own way.” That was the closing for the service. I know God enjoyed the spiritual evening we had in His presence.

Sunday, February 20 will be our Third Friday Night Singing. Bring your songs and instruments and join us.

Luncheon after the morning service. Church is at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and 7th St. Come and join in for a blessing.
