Feb. 13 – Sunday school opened with singing. It was truly a blessing to be back in church. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone and prayer requests were given. Bro. Jeff Shipley led in prayer. Jack read Malachi 4:1-6 for our devotion.
After a great Sunday school lesson happy birthday was sung to Bobby Combs. God bless him.
Sis. Tracy Shipley led our little ones in singing. Jeff Shipley, Susan Todd, Charlotte Roberts, Hi Lambeth, Janice Lafferty and Elsie Combs all gave testimonies.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Laurena Mitchell and Melissa Harmon sang specials. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Judges 11. Have you made promises to God? Have you kept them? Has God trusted you? Have you cheated Him? Keep your promises.
Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone and prayer requests were taken. Sis. Charlotte Roberts led in prayer. Janice Lafferty, Charlotte Roberts and Jim Lafferty all gave testimonies. Sis. Charlotte led us in singing. Bro. Bill spoke from Deuteronomy 20:1-8, John 14:1 and Romans 8:37-39. Are we in the battle for the Lord? Are we witnessing to others? Are we living for the Lord? Are we too concerned about wordly things? Let’s set our hearts and mind on Christ. Let’s be something God can use.
