Bryant Heights wk. 21

What a thrill it is to have this warm sunshine come out and melt all of this white stuff. It will all be gone by the end of this week from our weather man’s report.

Sunday at Seminole was a happy day, pastor Don’s message from John 13:34-35 was on “How Can I B.E.S.T. Love One Another? Bless one another by speaking well of people, to speak well even when others speak critically. Remember our words affect people. He used scripture James 3:2-3.

Oscar Cunningham made news this past Sunday. He preached  for Rev. Danny Douglas at the Brushy Knob Church in Skyline and he will be preaching again next Sunday morning, Feb. 20. Oscar has visited Brother Danny at St. John’s Hospital several times this past week where Danny had a knee replacement.

I wish to send happy birthday greetings to Ruby and Pete Proctor over Mountain Grove way. They are having birthdays the 18th and 19th.

I enjoyed a nice visit by phone Saturday with Myrtle Akers in Nixa. Both her and Bill are well and going to church every Sunday. I also visited with Lorene Johnston last week and she is also is staying well. I received a  call from Geneva in Oregon. They are all well and weather is fair. I called Alice in Iowa, Saturday and she was not home. Dick reports lots of snow and it has been very cold for a long time.

Billie called me from Fort Myers Saturday and reports she is freezing in 60 degree weather.

Because of the weather this is the first time I have missed sending Valentine cards. I will now send my love to all and wishing all a sweet and blessed day.

There is never a heart so broken, but the loving Lord can heal. For the heart that was pierced on Calvary, doth still for His loved ones feel.
