Black Oak Church News wk. 21

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” John 3:16.

The greatest gif of love ever given was from God to all of us. All we have to do is accept that gift.

It was so good to be back in church. Brother Roy Frye read Malachi 4:1-5 for the devotion after we akk sang the good old hymns. We then had a good lesson on listening to Jesus.

We were so glad to have Kenny and Dennis with us and hope they come back.

Brother Bobby took up the offering and Howard Strong took up the offering for Camp Piland.

Pastor David sang then preached from Matthew 16:21-27. God needs us who are Christians to take up the cross and follow Him. We must be about the Father’s business of saving souls. Anyone who is not saved is heading for hell, even our loved ones. We need to show others the joy of being a Christian and the peace that comes only from Him. Oh, how He loves us. When you get saved you feel that love that is greater than any love you have known from anyone. Please consider God and His ways. He needs us all.

We missed some that were gone. Sunday evening we had our Sweet On Jesus fellowship. I think everyone had a good time. I know I did.

Please join us for Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:00. We are still in Revelation.

May God bless you always.
