Smallett wk. 20

Sunday morning services were changed due to the weather and only the second service was held. A few brave people ventured out to attend.

Sunday evening was food, games and of course the Super Bowl Bash.

We are sorry to hear of so many who are sick in our community and pray for their soon recovery.

Bevy Moore came down and spent the afternoon with us on Saturday. While here, we sewed and did some decorating for the wedding vow renewal next Sunday afternoon.

Delmar and I ventured out on Friday and tried to get to the funeral for Weldon Sanders but, couldn’t make it up the hill so had to just leave. We are praying and hoping that his family will be comforted through their loss.

We are sorry to hear of the death of Colleen McCoy, daughter of our friends, Neil and Eileen McCoy.

On Sunday, Donna Bannister came down and spent the day with us. We made a trip to Wal-Mart which was nice to get out of the house for awhile. I made a homemade chicken pot pie for lunch while she was here. When we got home, we watched a movie and snacked.

I hope our friends in Wenatchee, Washington and family in Entiat, Washington, are doing better.

I hope everyone is doing good during this cold, nasty weather.

Be sure to check on neighbors and elderly to be sure they are o.k.

Until next week be patient, this too shall pass and Spring will arrive soon.
