Smallett wk. 19

Sunday morning message was brought from Proverbs 3:1-10, “Stewardship Is Lordship.”
Sunday evening message was from Revelations 21:1-4, “Heaven, Land Of No Tears.”
Tillie Fowler sang a beautiful special.
There were several out with sickness this week. We pray for their quick and complete recovery.
On Wednesday evening, the youth and the adult classes had a very good time worshiping and studying God’s word. We are proud of our youth leaders and the way they take such sincere interest in all the youth.
I heard from Albert Erickson that his wife, Joyce, took her mother, Arleen Henningsen, and went fishing. I didn’t hear whether or not that they caught any fish.
Those visiting in the home of Delmar and Margaret Rosseau this week were Bevy Moore, Donna Bannister, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams and Stacie Hamby.
We were sorry to hear of the death of Leroy Melton.
We were in town today and everyone was talking about the storm that is forecast for this week. It looked like the stores were about to be cleaned out of supplies. We have water drawn and food that doesn’t have to be cooked, so, I think we can make it fine.
Just be sure to check on your neighbors and the elderly to be sure they are not in trouble.
Until next week just remember that For Those Tears He Died.
