Rainbow Ridge wk. 20

When the ice, sleet, and snow fell a week ago, Norma Stillings was happy to be safe inside, and stayed there until Friday. She is fortunate to have a son, Dan, and grandson, Alan, who are not afraid to go out on the ice. They were able to clear part of the driveway, Saturday morning, so people could get out of their cars safely for a birthday celebration that afternoon.

Tom Stillings and Joyce Greenwood of Ozark, Cliff and Debra Bohnstedt of Springfield, and Stanley Stillings of Squires joined Norma Stillings, Dan Stillings, and Alan Stillings to celebrate Tom and Alan’s birthdays. There was homemade pizza which is a long-time Stillings family tradition.

Tom and Jewell Johnson did not have any news as such. The ice and snow probably kept visitors away last week. Jewell says that they have such good help coming from the family. This good attention from their family has been going on for years. Their daughter-in-law, Shirley Johnson, is a very good cook and sends them good food. Larry Johnson comes almost every day and eats lunch with them. Their son, Lowell Johnson, is there to help. Grandson Kent Johnson is there a lot as well as others of the family.
