Last weeks news – On Friday I went on the Oats bus to Ava and did some shopping then I met Tracy, Hannah and Devin and went home and spent the night with them. On Saturday I watched them play basketball then Tracy brought me home Saturday evening.
Dwayne Sparks kids and grandkids all surprised him Saturday night with an early birthday celebration. All were there except his daughter, Paula, who lives in Arkansas.
Ann and I went to church and there was several out. Dwayne gave his birthday offering.
Karen Frederick fixed a belated birthday dinner for Doug on Sunday. Jared, Sirena, Cole and Izzy Bradshaw were down. Agnes Williams, Ann Collins and I were there. Janet and Katlyn Smith came later in the evening. She sure fixed a good dinner.
Ted Collins has a birthday on Valentine’s Day as does Norma Griffith in Ava. Pat Daughterty and Devin Snodgrass the 26th.

Chester Smith was taken to Cox by helicopter Saturday.
The funeral for Pearl Cook is to be today at New Hope. That is a hard place to get to in bad weather.
Dora School is in session today as it was on Friday. Ava is still out.
Karen and Doug Frederick were in Mtn. Grove Saturday and went by the rest home to see his mother, Phyllis. She is doing better.
Prior dismissed church yesterday.
