Snow, snow and more snow, it always looks so pretty when it first comes down, but I am ready for sunshine and lots of it.
I wonder how God even tries to answer all of our prayers. School kids pray for lots of snow so they don’t have to go to school. Those of us who have to drive to work pray for the roads not to get too bad. I’m sure some people pray for no snow at all. God does know what’s best for us. We just have to believe and trust in Him.
Our roads were too slick this weekend so we cancelled our singing and church services. It never seems like a weekend when we don’t go to church. I forgot to get the news in last week so I didn’t get to tell you that Chandelin, Destiny and Desiree sang a special for us, as well as, Bud, Irene and Jon. Grace and her brother, Evan, also sang and the youth sang one with Esther Johnson at the piano.
We had a small gathering of our family at the nursing home to visit with Willene, Bob and Angie. The family members present were Howard, Phyllis Adams and Eric, Stan and Dottie Adams, Roger and Irene Swearenging and Alexis.
We got to take Alexis home with us to spend the night.
This week my other grandkids – Courtney, Rilee and Logan came down a couple of days to play. I actually missed work two days because of weather.
Well, the news was short for this week.
May God keep you safe and warm!
